by: GeekSpeak : Find filler products for free shipping on Amazon [...] Find filler products for free shipping on Amazon This weekend I bought a couple of books on Amazon.com and the total was $24.54, 46 cents shy of qualifying for Amazon's free shipping. I could have found something else to add to my cart but I probably would have spent more than if I just paid for shipping. So what to do? There are many tips and hacks to find good deals at Amazon, and one often overlooked trick is to search for "filler" products to bring your total to 25 bucks so you get the free shipping. I tried 3 different filler finding sites: SlickDeals.net, PriceTracker.com, and FillerItem.com. All 3 work basically the same way: enter the dollar amount of filler that you need (.46 in my case) and a list of available items around that price is returned. There are an amazing number of books and products for 49 cents. SlickDeals.net has the best interface but it's worth it to check all 3 as they each return a slightly different list of filler products.
